Why Choose a Quilted Bedspread?

✔ Timeless Elegance

Quilted bedspreads add texture and depth to your bedroom. The intricate stitching patterns – from classic diamonds to modern geometrics – elevate any décor style, from farmhouse to contemporary.

✔ Year-Round Comfort

Unlike heavy comforters, quilted bedspreads are lightweight yet warm. They provide the perfect layer for cool nights and can be easily folded back during warmer months. Many are made from breathable pure cotton or cotton blends.

✔ Easy Care & Durability

Most quilted bedspreads are machine washable and wrinkle-resistant. The quilting keeps the filling in place, so you won't have to deal with shifting or clumping. Perfect for busy households.

✔ Versatile Styling

Available in a wide range of colors – from crisp white and calming blue to rich jewel tones – you can easily coordinate with your existing bedding, curtains, and furniture.

Materials & Filling: What to Look For

The best king size quilted bedspread sets combine a beautiful outer fabric with a comfortable fill.

Cotton – Breathable, soft, and easy to care for. Ideal for all-season use.
Polyester/Cotton Blend – Wrinkle-resistant and more affordable, with good durability.
Microfiber – Ultra-soft, lightweight, and often hypoallergenic. Great for sensitive skin.
Matelassé – A woven fabric with a raised, quilted pattern. Offers a luxurious, vintage feel.
Chenille – Plush and textured, adds a cozy, tactile element to your bed.
Filling: Polyester fill is most common – lightweight, hypoallergenic, and retains its shape well.

King Size Bedspread – Fit & Dimensions

A true king size bedspread should measure approximately 108" x 96" (width x length) to provide adequate drop on the sides and foot of the bed. For deeper mattresses (14"–16"), look for oversized or "king plus" sizes.

Standard King: 76" x 80" mattress – bedspread size ~108" x 96"
California King: 72" x 84" – some bedspreads are labeled "Cal King" or "King/Cal King" for a universal fit.
For a tailored look, consider a coordinating bed skirt to complete the ensemble.

Care Tips for Long-Lasting Beauty

🧼 Washing

Machine wash in cold or warm water on a gentle cycle. Use mild detergent. Avoid bleach and fabric softeners (they can break down fibers and reduce the quilted texture).

☀️ Drying

Tumble dry on low heat or air dry. Remove promptly to minimize wrinkles. For cotton blends, a quick iron or steam is optional.

📦 Storage

When not in use, store in a cool, dry place. Use a breathable cotton storage bag to protect from dust and moisture.

🔄 Rotation

Rotate your bedspread regularly to ensure even wear. This also helps maintain the loft of the filling.

How to Style Your King Bed with a Quilted Bedspread

Create a layered, inviting look:

Start with a fitted sheet – choose a neutral or contrasting color.
Add the quilted bedspread – let it drape evenly over the sides and foot.
Layer with pillows – use two standard shams (included in most sets) and add decorative accent pillows for depth.
Finish with a throw – a textured or knitted throw at the foot adds warmth and style.

For a cohesive look, explore matching king size bedspread sets that include shams and sometimes a bed skirt.

What’s Included in a King Size Quilted Bedspread Set?

Most sets include:

✔ 1 King size quilted bedspread (approx. 108" x 96")
✔ 2 King shams (20" x 36" each)
✔ (Optional) 1 bed skirt or decorative pillow

Check product descriptions carefully – some sets are "bedspread only" or include extra accessories.
