Shop Top Picks ↓Why choose a full size bunk bed? Whether you're furnishing a shared bedroom, a vacation home, or a dorm, a full-over-full bunk bed offers the perfect balance of comfort and floor space. Unlike twin bunks, full beds provide ample room for adults and growing teens, while the stacked design frees up square footage for play, study, or storage.
🛏️ Space-Saving Design
Two full-size beds in the footprint of one. Ideal for small rooms, shared spaces, or vacation cabins.
🪜 Built-In Storage & Stairs
Many models include drawers, shelves, or staircases with integrated storage — perfect for maximizing every inch.
🔒 Safety & Durability
Heavy-duty metal or solid wood frames with high weight capacities (up to 800 lbs per bunk) and full-length guardrails.
🧑🤝🧑 Versatile for All Ages
Great for kids, college students, or even as guest beds. Full size means comfortable sleep for two adults per bunk.
What to Look for in a Full Size Bunk Bed
Before you buy, consider these key factors to ensure you choose the right bed for your needs:

- Weight Capacity: Look for a minimum of 400 lbs per bunk for adult use. Heavy-duty options support up to 800 lbs.
- Safety Features: Guardrails on all sides, sturdy ladder or stairs, and a secure connection between bunks.
- Storage Options: Some models include under-bed drawers, built-in shelves, or a desk underneath.
- Assembly: Most full bunk beds ship in boxes and require DIY assembly. Check if tools are included.
